Jim Fischer & Gary ReentsDrivers
Gary Reents, a local driver from Villard, MN. began his racing career in 1970. The Reents Bros. Racing Team concentrated on Late Model and Modified racing for many years. After a retirement from driving, a favorite driver of many race fans returned to the track.
The Reents Family has an extensive racing history, and have acquired a large amount of racing achievements. Returning to the track in 2002, Gary won the Street Stock Rookie of the Year Award, and finished a respectable 4th place in overall points. The following year proved to be quite an accomplishment as the team won the 2003 Street Stock Championship at Viking Speedway. The next week the crew traveled to Cedar Lake Speedway and brought home the Wissota 100 Title. In 2004 a new super stock was built, and Gary finished the season in 5th place and once again captured the Rookie of the Year Award.
Gary raced his second year in the Super Stock Division in 2005 finishing the season in the top ten in overall points. In 2006, Gary will continue to compete in the same class and looks forward to improving the Black Gold Race Program.
