Saturday August 12th races were canceled due to rain. We will return to the track on Saturday August 19th for the Douglas County Fair race at Viking Speedway.
Jake will be racing his go-kart on Friday August 18th at the Atwater Karting Speedway and racing a double header starting at 2:00 on Sunday August 20th at the Runestone Raceway during the Douglas County Fair. |

Gary had trouble handling the car as it was pushing bad during the heat race. Gary finished the heat race in 5th place.
Starting the feature toward the back, Gary gained a few positions and continued to drive hard finishing the race in 12th place out of 23 cars.
Kyle Reents had a great night in his Midwest Modified. Starting the feature event in 12th place, Kyle at one time had moved up to 2nd place, eventually settling for an impressive 3rd place out of 28 cars. |

Gary started his heat race in the back and finished in 7th place.
Starting the feature event in the back row, Gary had his work cut out for him on an extremely hot night. Gary moved up a few positions but the car was not running great as it did over heat forcing Gary to pull in so the crew could cool the car down.
Heading back out on the track, Gary drove hard bringing the car to an impressive 7th place finish. |

Gary started toward the back of his heat race and had moved up to 5th place before the car started cutting out on him. Gary finished in 7th place in the heat race.
Starting toward the back of the feature event Gary drove hard and the car was handling well. Gary moved all the way up to 7th place before running out of time when the race ended. |

We are very sad to let everyone know that Steve Lacey one of our pit crew members was tragically killed on Sunday night in a car accident.
Steve has been apart of our pit crew for about 6 years and has put in many hours of work on the old Street Stock and the Super Stock.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Steve's family and we will all miss having him around the shop. |
