2007 Race Season Fast Approaching

The Black Gold Race Team has been working hard preparing for the start of the new season. A test and tune practice session is scheduled at Viking Speedway from 6:30 to 9:30 pm on Friday, April 20th. Viking Speedway will hold their season opener on Saturday, April 21st starting at 5:00 pm.

The new engine for the Super Stock is close to being completed. Gary has been putting the new body on the car and it should be ready to be lettered at the graphic shop very soon.

Kyle's Midwest Modified is also close to being done and should be ready to be lettered soon.

Jake finished out the 2007 winter karting season at the MotoDome Indoor Race Facility located near Staples. Jake finished in second place in the overall point standings.

The summer karting season will begin in May and Jake is excited to move up into the Junior I division. Jake put his new body together and is helping his Dad get his kart ready for the start of the summer season.
